Billing & Claims

What is the typical denials you see in ABA Biling?

It is most common to see denials related to credentialing or authorizations. So we offer a full-scale service to cut down on those common occurrences. Another common issue, is due to clients losing or changing insurance. We recommend encouraging clients to be aware of these changes and notify the practice immediately if they have an insurance change.

How often do you submit claims?

We bill once a week, for the week before. We encourage all providers to ensure all sessions are entered and correct before we bill to cut down on denials, corrections, or delayed revenue. We want to make certain claims are going out correctly the first time.

What happens if a claim is denied?

We work it accordingly! We don’t just move on — we investigate why. Our team reviews the denial, corrects any issues, and resubmits the claim promptly. We also track patterns to prevent future denials. We stay on top of funders to provide reimbursement on billable claims.

What can we expect to see in your reporting?

Everything! Contractual amount billed, collected, outstanding, analytics per payer, per client. We want you to be aware of any denied claims or money left on the table.

Credentialing & Contracting

What is credentialing, and why does it matter?

Credentialing is the process of enrolling your providers or organization with insurance payers so you can bill for services. It ensures you’re recognized and reimbursed properly by each network.

How long does credentialing usually take?

Most payer networks take 60–120 days to complete credentialing. We handle the application, follow-ups, and any corrections along the way to help keep the process moving.

Do you manage re-credentialing or renewals?

Yes. We track expiration dates and handle renewals proactively so you stay compliant and avoid gaps in billing.

Can you help us get credentialed with Medicaid or multiple insurance networks?

Absolutely. We assist with both commercial and government payers and can help you prioritize networks that align best with your client base.
